Heath care in this country is going to explode into a huge crisis, sooner rather than later.
Anyone who was fiddling while Rome burns will carry that responsibility.

If you are not nearly at retirement and think you will hang onto your health care and employment for several more decades with impunity, you are likely going to be caught up in the mess in a very big way. How many of you think your current employer will not stick you with the bill when premiums double or kick your ass to the curb when you become an older, less healthy liability?

How many use their health insurance for actual health care? Many people think health insurance means good health...
And tell us, how did they survive and not die prior to 2010?
BTW, Alabama premiums have sky rocketed to 220% + over the last few years....

It was never designed to be a "maintenance free program", it requires administrative maintenance...

No, it was dead before Trump was elected. Obama and the globalists were trying whatever they could to bankrupt the country to make patriotic citizens more easy to work with. It was predicted to be a disaster and it was.
ACA was DOA when Trump took office. I thought everyone knew that. Once we get some decent paying jobs again, everyone can pay for their own healthcare, and we won't have to force citizens to buy insurance, which does not equate to affordable healthcare, in order to prop up the health insurance industry.
We have reached a point where the majority doesn't win. We are a country controlled by rural voters and the divide is going to get much worse.
Uhh... you seem to have a problem understanding we are a constitutional republic. Not a democracy. NYC and California are not the 50 states of the union. Election maps going by county shows a sea of red with small patches of blue hives... while you may be indoctrination centers in the cities, the rest of America is tired of doing it your way and getting the short end of the stick... is that hard to comprehend that states other than California or NYC have a voice too? Its not about who has a lot of money or who does not.. Its a matter of who respects the work of others. That is what we pay for....
America is as it is now, because it has no respect for the works of others, and therefore does not want to pay them. But chases slave wage labor on foreign soil, and return to want to sell to American people goods, as if they paid living wage standards to Americas to produce it.
I do not go out and buy any 90 dollar tennis shoes, that a brand paid people in China $7 to produce, but they want to ship it back here and charge American People, a price as if they paid American Living Standard Wage To Produce it.
It was NEVER cheaper to produce products on Foreign Soil !!!! it cost american to loose circulation of currency in its own economy due to limited labor, and that means less tax circulating, and that means deteriorated infrastructure, and crumbling communities and everything else that is wrong with American's General Economy and its Economically devastated citizen population.
Every Penny, between that $7 paid to Chinese to make a Pair of Tennis Shoes and that $90 sales price in American, equaly the Loss % America Suffers, and that money goes directly into the pockets of the greedy and everything in America suffers and declines as a result.
That same Tennis Shoe, if it was produced in America for paid wages,product and all at $25 or even $50 a Pair.. It would still have generated a substantial profit for the Product producer... and that money would have circulated in the American Economy many times, improving and maintaining much of lives and infrastructure as well as communities, cities and towns. but that is too much like honorable business, and by goodness, one can't expect some greedy American's to do anything that promotes Honest Business. We have an example of that sitting in the White House this very day.
If American had Unions and Industry this very day... we'd not have an insurance issue, because the system of producing at least 40% of what we consume would "employ" people, and we'd still have "OJT programs", and business would make profit and provide benefits, and we likely would not even have a co-pay for job supported Insurance. Exactly as there was no co pay before Degree Riders and Right Winger's started on their greed chasing of outsourcing and union busting, and ultimately destroying the American Industrial systems. Now they are doing the same thing to the Commercial systems. It all goes back to people, NOT respecting the works of others, and chasing greed and vanity by any and every means.
Too many people fantasize about the vile ideal of Antebellum system, where many white people did all they could not to work, their acts to avoid work were many, which included "indenturing other poor white people, and not paying them a living wage for their labor" and "using and promoting slavery and paying nothing for the people labor.
Countries like China and Others will eventually dominate, because they understand their people must work, they blend technology with people labor.. American people are chasing aims to use robots to replace people. void of the fact the human being must have some viable work.
Already, China has uplifted over 300 million people, when our whole nation only has a bit of 300 million inhabitants.
In 10 yrs China will have uplifted another 100 million or more... while American is trying to kill of the aged, plans to damage the mass of the general population and make them nothing more than a service class for the wealthy.
China's people don't whine and cry, when the Government Invest in things that benefit the people. American mostly white people, whine and cry because they want to privatize and profit from anything that benefits the people.
Trump and Republican vile plans on Privatizing Anything he can get away with, and on setting up a "Kill some people" program, disguised as Health Care tells everything anyone needs to know about the horrible mentality of these types of people.
