They do a great job of "providing freedom" when they're somewhere else. Domestic law enforcement requires a special set of skills, skills that you shouldn't be "learning on the job".

A large portion of LE in this country have served in the Armed Services. When I came on it was probably 80% of the guys I had worked with had done time in the service. Most of them were great cops. If you were in the service you still had to go through a police academy just like everyone else. You simply do not know what the heck you are talking about.

Not really. This situation is so much different then others that have played out. First off, this woman was standing in pajamas next to the drivers side of the police car talking with the driver of the car. The second officer took out his gun, fired a shot through the car and across his partner who's sitting in the drivers seat.

So try not to get confused between some woman in pajamas having a verbal dialog with an officer and thugs running/walking violently through the streets disobeying orders from the police. I know it's got to be pretty difficult for you and I may be asking way too much from you considering your mental skill set, but just try for once.

No, I see you are the only one that said that so far.

Yep, get used to the world we have created! You can pretend it doesn't work that way and talk platitudes, but we love easy access to firearms and liquor and drugs in the USA! Lamenting that they are often found together seems pretty naive to me.

This is not just the society we now have, it is the one we insist upon!

Suggesting that someone who comprehends this reality, is endorsing bad behavior, is just sad!

You know what I noticed? No protest marches, no rioting, no looting, no blocking traffic, no calling the cop "murderer", no injuring police officers, no BLM, no national news trucks parked in front of the woman's house, no "No justice, no peace" chants.

Probably politics.

It took something like 2 years to bring charges against the Chicago cop that dumped a clip into Laquan MacDonald.

He was charged. You don't protest when the right things happen.
