From what I read.....(But not on any MSM sites).....is that the Awan Investigation is being headed (in DC) by....wait for it.......(very long drum roll).......Steven Wasserman. (her brother & evidently some Assistant DA in DC.)

They had such lax security that the DNC servers were allegedly hacked by rank amateurs. Hillary Clinton cared so little about security that she set up an unsecured server in her bathroom and sent classified info on it. John Podesta saw a big red flashing sign that said ATTENTION: CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD NOW so he did, compromising all his emails and sensitive data. Now the Chairperson of the DNC has hired Muslims from Pakistan who compromised 80 Democratic Congressmen & Senators, as well as many of the most sensitive National Security committees in Congress. This is all within a year. If that's not indicative of a systemic problem, wtf would qualify in your mind?

All of this speaks for itself. i.e. Trump is President, the MSM is irrelevant.

Ok, OP, you got us, we have to confess that there is this Yuge conspiracy in the United States to ONLY attack Donald Trump. Everyone from the FBI, CIA, and every news organization on the planet (even overseas) got together and decided to put out fake stories about Donald Trump, but to totally ignore any negative things about Hillary or the rest of the Democrats.

Serious question: Why would this be a noteworthy political story? From what I can gather, some IT people who happened to work for Democrats committed bank fraud that was unrelated to their work for Democrats. If a staffer or janitor in the Eisenhower Building got arrested for shoplifting, would it be worthy of serious news coverage?

From what I can tell, this guy and his wife are charged with attempting to commit bank fraud by "misrepresenting themselves on a loan for a rental property they had and then wiring the proceeds to two unnamed persons in Pakistan."
Sounds as if the guy lied about how much a rental property was worth, refinanced it and wired the proceeds to someone in Pakistan.

The Pakistani-born Awan attempted to flee the country shortly after Rosiak’s report that he was the subject of an FBI investigation. Awan’s wife, who was also on congressional Democrats’ payroll, previously fled to Pakistan, as first reported by Rosiak.
Awan and members of his family received $4 million from the Democratic congressmen they were working for since 2010. Wasserman Schultz has been especially uncooperative with the probe into her staffers and even threatened the Capitol Police chief for gathering evidence. She refused to fire Awan until after he was arrested, even though Capitol Police had already revoked the Awans’ access to the congressional IT system in February 2017 in relation to a major security breach.
Current House IT aids fear the suspects are blackmailing Democratic members of Congress with their own data, based on the Democratic members’ inexplicable loyalty to the House IT staffers involved in the probe.
Despite the growing scandal, the establishment media has for months done its best to keep the public in the dark. That trend continued this week, even after Rosiak reported the existence of the FBI investigation, and even after Awan — a top Democratic staffer — was arrested trying to flee the country to Pakistan.
