It was announced this morning on Meet the Press that one of the Koch brothers may in fact be setting the Republican agenda.

Barack Obama may be the only President since Reagan to not have met or have been allied with the Koch brothers. Shortly after the election of Barack Obama, the Koch brothers met with a consortium of billionaires to make war on the Obama agenda. This consortium accumulated a war chest of 890 million dollars to further their agenda. Many of these dollars are being used to shape public opinion away from the things that make American life livable.

It is time for those of us who don't have our degrees from FOX university to register to vote, and vote even in the minor elections.

If the Koch brothers and their comrades in the elite super-rich class say it's time to move on, the party will obediently comply.

They'll try to make the pivot look good, but they will obey.

I read the book "Dark Money" by Jane Mayer and she explains about the Koch Brothers. Oh yeah, they're definitely behind all this for sure. What they say goes, and you better believe everybody who is anybody tows the line with them.

I don't know where the Koch Brothers are going to get their big payday from tax reform. $700,000,000 of it, was going to come from the Republican Healthcare Plan cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. That was central to the 'pubs tax reform package. Maybe they'd like to go back to the good ol' Eisenhower days when capital gains were taxed at 90%

Geezo-meezo... I'm so frightened. Oh wait. No I'm not. Truth is, I'd rather take my chances avoiding a pickpocket than avoiding a jack-booted thug coming at me with a set of leg irons and a neck violin.

Do I really give a damn if the "Kokk Brothers" are rich? No. Do I give a damn that a run-away government is trying to control every aspect of my life from whether I go to a doctor right down to whether I consume a milligram of sugar and what my opinion is on any given matter? Why yes, Virginia... yes I do.

49 Republican Senators just voted in favor of a bill they had barely seen but that they knew would result in thousands of their constituents losing health insurance.

Didn't know costs. Didn't have any CBO estimates and numbers to compare.

Refused to hold any sort of reasonable discussion.

Held the vote in the dead of night.

If I were them, I'd be ashamed too.

You have every right to go or not to to a doctor or consume all the sugar you want. Knock yourself out. Nobody's going to stop you. Gawd, the drama around here.

Free of government taxation or imposed penalties? No. No I don't. Especially if I live in uber liberal cities and states. Which, thank god I don't.
