I consider feminist a subset of identity politics a subset of liberal/progressive and they do stick their fingers in everything and do ruin everything.
I think it's pretty clear the article is in reference to the recent wave of radical progressive feminism.
I understand. I'm just trying to help others understand. I've had several arguments on here where people who are well-meaning and passionate don't really understand the vast distinctions. They might hear you condemn feminism and think you're against women having equal treatment under the law or being in the workforce or having self-determination or even being allowed to vote.

I have to admit to not reading the entire article you noted. It was long and kept prompting me for various things. But I think I got the gist.
Look, as many others have indicated the term "feminist" has come to mean a gigantic number of things so it isn't fair to characterize everything that is under that umbrella in the same vein.
I don't know whether there is a label for my brand of feminisim (second wave, radical, neuveou, etc). All I know is that I believe that women should have equal rigths to men. If men can vote women should vote. If men earn XX for doing YY job than they should earn the same, etc. I don't expect more than what men receive. But there are lots and lots or views about this, and my simple view is not universal. But I think it's fair, and, unfortantately I think it is still considered to be feminism. It should be "universalism" since at core my philosophy is that everyone should be treated the same regardless of gender, skin tone, etc. But that just isn't so it is somehow considered a feminist philosophy.
I also understnad that theree are those who belive that women have an unfair advantage in the workplace. All I can say is that from my limited oersoective that is far, far from true. The wmoen I know work longer hours for less comoensation and simoky don't say @#$#$)*@#$) about it. I know I don't.
