I think you missed the entire point. Once again, military options are available for any reason anywhere in the world at any time. That's a fact of life. Venezuela isn't being treated differently than any other country. Nothing special there at all as far as using military options.
And once again, the title of this thread is a joke and a lie because Trump never ever ever said he wanted to invade Venezuela.
How does one go about writing a complete lie as a title to a thread and get away with that? I guess the moderators would know or they just don't care.

Sounds good to me. Russia can get bogged down in as many countries as they like and we should stay out unless it Directly affects us. I believe almost everything we do can be handled diplomatically, and I make my living in the Defense Industry . We should have never went in to Somalia, Iraq 1 and 2, Bosnia, Libya, Yemen or Syria.
That can't be true. He said he wasn't going to get involved in other nations civil wars. We've had a long tradition of presidents who say things like this and back it up.

I'm not looking for sarcasm from a president, I was hoping for an intelligent statement critical of Venezuela's removal of judges and a rigged election and instead this is what I got. Even if you are correct that he is smart enough to understand satire, it's not the time for statements like that.
