I have a very simple question:
Do you support the violence of the anti-supremacists?
Now, keep in mind they showed up from as far away as Berkeley and NYC armed with weapons and tactical gear, so hundreds of them came intent on fighting.
I'm more of a pacifist Libertarian, so I don't support intentional violence of any sort.
So, do you?
Isn't the more relevant question: Do you support the violence of the White Supremicists and Neo-Nazis?
When he says that he condemns white supremacists, he is making people understand his position.
David Duke is a white supremacist. Trump has said that he condemns white supremacists.
A fifth grader could understand the implication, but it appears to escape you.
Tsk-tsk.
Exactly.
He made his announcement (actually 2 of them) denouncing Domestic Terrorists, White Supremacists, Nazis & KKK. He also said AntiFa & the MSM media suck. All accurate statements.
Whiners & idiots will discuss this for days. Meanwhile, Trump has moved on to more important things. Like in the past Two days:
- Successfully verbally b*tchslapping the North Korean Dictator & getting him to back down, thus avoiding Guam and our Asian Allies being bombed....& possible worldwide nuclear fall out.
- Finalizing the Infrastructure Plan that will put Americans back to work. (something that Obama talked about for 8 years, but instead gave that money to Wall Street on the secondary MTG bailout)
Trump & Americans will be building & repairing roads, bridges, rail lines and airports, while the media p*ssys and basement gerbils will have their hair on fire and will be advising us that they saw russia, russia, russia & david duke at Starbucks yesterday while they were coming back the recent tranny bathroom protest rally.
It was a right wing gathering called Unite the Right. White supremacists and Neo Nazis showed up, but it doesn't mean everyone there was part of that clique. It was intended to be a right wing/conservative rally, from what I understand. Not all right wing conservatives are white supremacists/neo Nazis.
When they light up torches and start chanting hateful white supremacist messages as they march through the streets, very fine people run in the other direction. If you're not part of that clique, you make sure that you're not associated with that clique.
What a sad state the US is presently in when the large numbers of people defend the KKK, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis. Donald Trump and his followers are taking the country to the lowest depths of humanity.
This is exactly correct. The left wants to conflate that if you acknowledge facts you are racist. This is BS. One side had a permit to protest and march. You don't have to agree or like them but they had a right and went by the law. The other side showed up to disrupt and start a fight. If the altleft had let them alone no one would have paid any attention. This is a fact. The left keeps poking a bear and then whines at how mean the bear is when they get bit.
You don't leave white supremacists alone. If you have any moral fiber at all, you challenge their message. That message must be challenged. History has taught us this.
As I said, the DA can certainly upgrade the charge. It is frequently done. Also frequent, of course, is downgrading charges.
Here is the definition of such according to the Commonwealth of Virginia's criminal statute:
"§ 18.2-32. First and second degree murder defined; punishment.
Murder, other than capital murder, by poison, lying in wait, imprisonment, starving, or by any willful, deliberate, and premeditated killing, or in the commission of, or attempt to commit, arson, rape, forcible sodomy, inanimate or animate object sexual penetration, robbery, burglary or abduction, except as provided in § 18.2-31, is murder of the first degree, punishable as a Class 2 felony.
All murder other than capital murder and murder in the first degree is murder of the second degree and is punishable by confinement in a state correctional facility for not less than five nor more than forty years."
It is brief. Here is a link to the definition of 'Capital Murder', for it is too long to cut and paste:
I will add, that the presiding judge denied this young man bond. It would appear that the DA argued that this young man was a flight risk. If the DA 'saw' the evidence you claim, and believed that the young man was simply fleeing from an attack from the rear, I doubt he would have considered the young man a flight risk.

You got it backwards. It used to be that almost everyone would defend the right of groups they don't like to assemble and demonstrate. People used to take pride in the fact that free speech was the American way. Now... not so much.
Maybe we should listen to the way the guy on the ground looks and talks. He says he's from the area but doesn't know the area he was in. He doesn't have a southern accent, he has street accent.
We need to know what happened before this situation happened and why none of his friends that he said were with him were no where to be found in any of the still photos.
You are repeating what you claimed earlier in this thread, almost word for word, so I will repeat what others replied.
Your implication that because Mr. Harris may not have been from the Charlottesville area, it is therefore acceptable to viciously attack him is despicable.
Whether Harris was alone, with friends, or had become separated from friends is completely irrelevant. He was attacked in a very cowardly fashion - five on one - for no reason whatsoever other than hate.
