Heh, my maternal family were Hispanics in AZ 150 years ago (plus a black GF somewhere) and my paternal side were Slavs who came here in the late 19th century to escape Russian slavery (go figure), but since I pass for white I'm supposed to be on the hook for something that happened centuries ago?

That's idiocy and simpleminded by the author, and anyone who agrees.

I'm not just done with it, I'm getting a little bent on the notion that I'm at fault because my skin isn't a dark enough shade of brown.

If race A will always blame others today for whatever happened to some ancestors 200 years ago, they will never be happy. That's on them, and you I suppose.
