Maybe along party lines. Let the Democrats have their states and republicans and right wingers have ours. "The American Union" has become something like the soviet union or the European union. We are an enormous country, there are counties in america as big as european nations.

Of course there is alot of division within the states as well but people can move to the state they prefer

So much hatred and division and so little gets done

The country has survived a Civil War, and the turmoil of the 1960s. I'm sure we'll get through this period without needing to break up.

The left is too racially divisive and the people are not allowed free speech and determination. It needs to be broken up.

This stupid topic again.

What would Independents do? Good grief.

When liberals/minorities complain about things in America and want change, the usual suspects tell them to get out of there country.

Then when the usual suspects complain about America, all of a sudden it's okay to change the country.

I'm not opposed to it.

Keep all like minded individuals in locations and problem solved. Issue a questionnaire based on a scale of 1-10 of importance to the individual.
Could do it like this.
Religion
LGBT
Economy/Careers
Free stuff/subsidies
Green energy/environmental
Firearms
Race/diversity
Education
Drug/narcotic decriminalization.
Law enforcement.

Rank it 1-10 and throw everyone where they need to be in the mix.
Can't be a double standard though.
Example you cant rank religious matters at a 10 and complain about Muslim neighbors. Or rank it not as important and complain about atheist neighbors.

I'd be interested in seeing the results of an expirament like that...
Could see the effects of the decriminalization of drugs and the related health effects of junkies and coke heads. We all know pot heads are just going to play video games and eat doritos...

Could see how effective crime rates plummet in areas where firearms are legal compared to areas where they are banned and folks have the right to stand their ground/castle doctrine vs call a cop. Same applies, both citizens and police would be unable to acquire firearms in those anti gun areas.

See states that lack income taxes, and have low sales taxes, but no welfare programs no wic, no state paid tuition, compared to states with higher taxes and freebies/free tuition.

So on so forth.

Hell no. I'm not going back to NY no way. Moment my safes cross into NY I commit felonies. 7 years for any magazine internal/external that holds more than 10 rounds, firearms with certain features, that'd be well over 200 years per safe... no way.
Texas sure. NY nope. That over taxed hell hole is just that. Terrible roads. High taxes.
