I highly doubt any of this is real, considering it's coming from fake news like CNN. But if it is, those charity groups, especially Susan G Komen, are pure scams in it for the money, and not the charity.

Cancellations are picking up steam.
Looks like they will take donations from Trump supporters. That won't bother them one bit.

I don't think he could get unemployment, if he's "fired for incompetence". Besides, he says he rich, very very rich. Bigly. So, he doesn't need to work, and it is clear that he doesn't like to work, so he should just go off into the sunset, and when he dies, people will say "wasn't he the guy on that cheesy Apprentice show?".

Lemme think... we elect people to "represent" us in Congress and as Prez. That whole shebang is supposed to be running the show. All of them are supposed to be working together, for everyone, not just for the splinter group who got them elected. Now, a person could go out and work to get elected and then work to change things within the "establishment" - the TEA party folks come to mind. And the electorate could let their representatives know that they want them to work across the aisle - the uproars at so many constituent meetings also comes to mind. So, if someone doesn't like the way 'the establishment' is working, work to change it rather than sign on to the idea of a dicktater being in charge of running the show.

"America's share of international tourism saw a 16 percent decline in March when compared to the same month last year, according a data analysis released on Wednesday by Foursquare, a technology company with a focus on location intelligence.

The decline dates to October 2016, one month before the U.S. presidential election that pitted Republican President Donald Trump against Democratic challenger and former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to the study. The decline has been steady with leisure tourism-related traffic to the U.S. falling an average of 11 percent between October and March, compared to the same period a year before.

Conversely, Foursquare analysts found tourism in the rest of the world increased 6 percent year-over-year during that same period."
I wasted $160 application fee and trip for two to Manila to get a simple tourist visa for my future husband. Despite providing him a dozen supporting documents and bank records, a very rude embassy employee simply said no your income in the Philippines is too low.

The purpose of all the documents was to prove sponsorship and ties for him to return to Philippines.

What a waste of time and money. No wonder tourism is down in US. The US simply doesn't want tourists for fear they may not return to their home countries.

Neighbor works with international research organizations and typically goes to several U.S. conferences a year as well as a couple international ones. He says that all his gatherings will be in other countries this year.

Organizations often like to schedule a gathering in the U.S. so that participants could combine a U.S. holiday with a business trip.

But with potential travel difficulties for some participants combined with the outrage expressed by others, just easier to meet somewhere else.

It's like the whole country has become North Carolina.

Why would any organization hold an event at a venue that will cause potential participants to not only decline the invitation but quit your group altogether?

Siding with Nazis just doesn't sit well with some.

Go figure.

Unfortunately, for the charities, there is no correct answer.

If they continue holding events at Trump's properties, they will be seen as attempting to gain favor with the administration and possibly losing a relatively minor source of funding from squeaky cheap and self-absorbed statits who typically give a smaller percentage of their income to charity and volunteer less of their time than religious conservatives.

If they cancel their events, they probably won't face retribution from conservatives and particularly conservative evangelicals because these generous donor groups generally don't boycott charities, but they do give more and volunteer more of their time than all-talk, tight-wad liberals, so the charities need to walk a fine line.

I expect that of the three, the American Red Cross is most vulnerable because they depend on blood donations in addition to monetary contributions.

If the conservatives and evangelicals are the big donors, why not go ahead and hold their shindigs at Mar-a-Lago?
