Lots of people elected to office don't hire their campaign staff for administrative positions. There's good reasons for that. Of course, Trump wouldn't know, because he doesn't know anything about public administration.

This is 100% Steve Bannon.

Almost nothing has been done from Trump's promises. The best thing that has been done is the nomination of Neil Gorsuch, maybe followed closely by the immigration proposal. We took on healthcare first, blew our political wad on it, instead of winning much easier fights in taxes and infrastructure.

Trump won because of Bannon's messaging, and has sided with Democrats like Cohn and Kushner. The administration has become an extension of the swamp.

Trump has driven the dagger into the heart of his own base. Much of the base is going to walk away now.
Not legislatively, but he's come through like a mug with concern to cracking down on illegal immigrants. I'm sure that keeps his base happy.

During that same call he made it clear there is no military solution to NK which contradicted Trump's huff and puff thing. In the end, Trump Admin used diplomacy to defuse the tension, no diff than prior Admin's.

Bannon will be seen as a hero as he makes the rounds of all the TV shows and defends Trump. None of Trump's agenda will change because Trump was and still is running the White House as the Snowflakes will soon find out. Bannon was a lightning rod distracting from the agenda so he resigned. All calculated!

He will be more powerful focusing on Trump's economic agenda, getting New Republicans elected to replace RINOs and Dems and to organize the rest of us to support Trump.

I'm happy that I will now be able to see and hear from Steve again on TV and ideally on the speakers circuit.

The Loony Left can now look for another false narrative. They might want to wait until Julian Assange releases his next bombshell report via Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.

Very, very little highlight legislation has been accomplished. Some things have been done at the edges but not what we in the base hoped for.

It's damage control for the Trump Admin... they'll act as if removing Bannon removes all traces of the alt-right from the White House. Here America, we're no longer bigoted haters.

It's shameful Bannon was in the WH in the first place, alcoholic white supremacist with no productive ideas, only a hatemonger. Now Bannon will go on to defend Trump's lies publicly as if he were just paid $10 million.

When's Trump resigning? Probably about a month before his investigation begins.
