Trump's always insulting people and boring them to death with his version of "I'm the greatest".
He's a clown that's totally out of his depth. His messaging is bipolar. He's incoherent. He's slowly deteriorating.
Frankly, I don't see how he's going to WIN OVER many people. He frets over his base. They'll be with him regardless, but I doubt others will stay with him.
Right now his biggest worry is that he is hemorrhaging republican congresspeople. He cannot pass anything whatsoever without their support. Maybe he's planning to rule by Executive Order.
He really hasn't done anything other than hold rallys, tweet, golf, and "fix" his own PR bungles.
Then how can he be impeached? I like to know what offense here is impeachable. That's the contradiction I hear, that he needs to be impeached yet he isn't doing anything to fix the country.
Of course, Trump's die-hard loyalists are as devoted as they've ever been. That hasn't changed and it's not likely to change. However, Trump has lost most independents and Republicans who were never fully on board the Trump train but voted for him to keep Hillary out. It seems like since inauguration, Trump has slowly bled supporters until now it's pretty much the die-hards (which are about 35% of the country mind you) still supporting him. Question is, has Trump gained any supporters? Also, is his approval rating as low as it can possibly go?
Money talks and if the economy continues to get better than Trump could win again and the left will continue to be a side show.

There were a few Trump die hard who loved him. They alone would not have won him the election.
What made him win was the group that didn't like him, but felt he was preferable to Hillary.
I do think that the first group could continue to shrink and the second group could grow. The Dems have gone absolutely insane since the election and are turning people off.

You think the trump diehards are shrinking and the protest voters are increasing.

Yes, as he has been going downhill with recent events, I cannot imagine that he would be gaining support, there's nothing positive to warrant it. It's not going well and the more he sees a lack of support of those around him in Washington and lashing out over it, not getting his way, tweeting about or yelling complaints regarding his "injustices", it will affect him. This is what he spends his time doing... otherwise, taking time off from his hard work.
It seems some stick by him out of sheer stubbornness, are not smart, just don't know what else to do or want to believe he would actually help. Despite whatever hangers-on will exist, I think more will give it up as the negativity continues to unfold.
I have no doubt Republicans will primary against trump. But if they are establishment Republicans in the vein of Jeb, Flake or Kasich, they will get their butts handed to them unless there are large numbers of Democrats that vote in the Republican primary.
Trump would love to rule with executive order because he sees himself as a king. He alienates his own party members because they do not matter to him at all. I hope the younger generation is able to have more choices and gets rid of this two party system. I believe he was elected strictly because people didn't want Hillary and took a chance with the business man.
