It was reporting on polling data... data that is now over two years old. It didn't really offer any interesting insight. The only point during the entire article where my interest kind of peaked was when they noted that Rand Paul was once doing very well. Aside from that, it was just "here are some numbers;" plain old, boring reporting. What little 'thought' they tried to add in was mostly just stating the obvious, like how a potential Warren campaign would compete with Clinton. Nothing terribly insightful.
I notice quite a few threads like this one. are people digging up the past in order to make themselves feel better? seems to indicate that they don't feel great presently!

i agree. the poll game throws numbers here and there. these %s and those. its to keep the political rubber neckers occupied and entertained for a season. For many no one is just -shocked- at any presidential outcome.
In retrospect while the elections where going on from bush to now - we all knew bush was going to win and win again. no one really had doubts about obama getting it... and the only surprise trump was is the fact that he was running... beyond that we all saw all of it coming before it came
