Per the US Constitution:

"The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

There is obviously lots of room for interpretation, as legal experts get into intense disagreement over much more mundane aspects of law. But essentially, there has to be some gross misconduct rather than simply poor job performance.

I think Gerald Ford said something to the effect of: grounds for impeachment are whatever Congress deems them to be.

Trump should be in good shape then. The congress is the most incompetent, do nothing, obstructionist clowns in government.

More evidence to arrest hillary than impeach trump.
