Therefore, "Sanctuary Cities" (or States) are a violation of the Constitution.

They are also a violation of 8 USC 1324 and 8 USC 1611 which deal with the harboring of persons known to be in the United States illegally, and disqualification of undocumented (illegal) aliens from receiving benefits or taxpayer funds.

When did California ratify the constitution?

Show me the rules and laws that California is making regarding immigration? Are they making illegals legal? Are they conferring citizenship upon them?

Nope...they're just saying that they won't enforce Federal law. That's it. Not that they won't follow Federal law. In fact, contrary to your repeated assertions..they are breaking no laws.

What case law do you refer to? The Constitution is the highest law in the land, and no Case Law is superior. Further, 8 USC 1324 and 8 USC 1611 are "crystal clear."

Cut and paste is your friend when you want to quote the law, which would take a long time to retype manually. Why would you do that?
*sigh* So..where are the arrests? Is Trump afraid/ IS Sessions afraid? Is the FBI scared?

Conflating constitutional law..and case law...well--good luck with that.

No bueno

"Thomas Homan, acting director of ICE, issued a statement Saturday afternoon accusing legislators of codifying “a dangerous policy” that “deliberately obstructs our country’s immigration laws and shelters serious criminal alien offenders.”"

Didn't Angela Merkel do the same with Germany and the country was immediacy overrun with 100s of 1000s of 'immigrants'?

I would think they would know better. Then again we are talking about deranged Democrats headed by governor Moonbeam.

"they'll be barred from transferring immigrants to federal authorities if their rap sheet includes only minor offenses."

I wonder if the VICTIMS consider those crimes to be "minor offenses" also many criminals commit minor crimes and then go on to the bigger crimes or murder .
