When states violate the Constitution, there is a court system to rectify that....all the way up to SCOTUS. So far trump's AG has failed in getting rulings against sanctuary cities. So, for now IT'S LEGAL. I know that's a trivial fact to trump supporters. Which is odd, because they are the first to say, We're a Nation of Laws. Unless a Federal court bans sanctuary city laws, they remain legal. No matter how much trump stamps his tiny little foot.
Uh; hiding ILLEGAL aliens IS a crime. Even if a state does it.
It's a horrible idea. Immigration is--and should be--a federal issue, not a state issue.
We're being set up for a civil war here.
Calif won't last in any kind of war with the US; especially with MOST that state still being American. The feds would just put LA county and the SF bay area under martial law. Especially with the CHP putting Jerry Brown and Pelosi under arrest for breaking federal law.
No problem rather have the hardworking undocumented than the ultra right wing intolerant bigots any day, glad they're moving out.
With all the shouting and rioting from intolerant left wing bigots the state is overrun with it's no surprise to see you people embrace even more criminals.
You can have them all, they still can't vote and you won't gain any electoral votes from bringing in illegals.

You demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of the US Constitution and the Courts
A state can pass an unconstitutional law.
Then anyone in the state can challenge said law in US court as violating their rights under the Constitution.
That is the way it works.
So any citizen in California can file a lawsuit that challenges the Sanctuary city law as violating their rights. If they have a good argument, then any Federal judge can place an injunction on it just like they did Trump's travel ban.

These 2.3 million will be absorbed and many will become citizens whether you like it or not the the other thing is most are good decent people. Like I said it's an added plus if it motivates the ultra right wingers to move out of California they won't be missed.

Obviously you didn't even take the time to read what was posted. I asked what city has Sessions sued and lost.
Here's a question for you however. Do you think "amnesty for illegals" is a winning platform for Democrats?
(I encourage the Democrat party to keep pushing it.)
