Well, he put up a good fight. One that she did not expect. Unfortunately he caved in and meekly supported her instead of fighting to the end. Bernie supporters saw that and decided to stay home or vote for Trump.

It is not like they were his personal property and he could command them and they would obey.
I agree. But once the DNC got involved to help Hillary I figured Bernie had no chance.

Bernie Sanders responds to Hillary attacks. Says current model of Dem party not working

No kidding.

Though the media is still firmly on the leftists' side, the leftist fanatics don't realize that normal Americans don't believe the media any more.

Once the super delegates committed for Hillary he had no chance. If he had won enough primaries he could have peeled off a few but probably not enough. Also, there is perception. If one, as a voter, feel that your candidate has no chance because the deck is stacked against him/her, you don't bother to vote.

But then he should have know the rules of the primaries before he entered the race and not complain about and against it. Just like Hillary should have known the difference between EC votes and popular votes.
How once uses them makes them a skilled candidate. Obama know this in 2008 when he used the Caucus states to win delegates even though he knew he will lose in non causes states to Hillary, especially those with higher percentage of white, red neck population. And Trump also did that focusing on EC votes in the swing rust belt states and not bothering with NY and California where he knew he would lose by huge margins.

They are. If it weren't for Trump they'd still be under the impression that reaching out to independents is unnecessary. So yeah, that's thanks to Trump. That should be the main focus for the Dems going forward. Drop identity politics and cater to independents.

Another thing that can be attributed to Trump; he is practically handing Democrats the independents on a silver platter. The trick will be if they actually take Bernie's advice and follow through with it.

Not really sure what you're trying to say here.

Sanders and Warren have both questioned the wisdom of the speech. I'm betting the DNC backs neither.

How much of a bribe did Sanders take to say that?

That is just it, Hillary has no shame and is just after power and her own ambitions. I heard several stumps where Bernie was getting the crowd fired up for Hillary, then she would start speaking and you could hear the air coming out of the balloon.

She is just bitter and looking to blame any and everyone for her loss.
Heck, she is lucky Bernie turned around and started to support her after all the dirty tricks she and her surrogates pulled against him during the primary.
