The difference in how Kim is acting now, compared to past administrations, and the past Kim, is not because of Trump, it's because they can finally follow through on their many, many threats.

You think what Trump has been saying is new? Nope. Bill Clinton said the same, and everyone cheered!!

"The left is “going ballistic” over President Trump’s UN speech mocking “Rocket Man” Kim Jong-un and threatening to “totally destroy” North Korea if it attacks the US or its allies, calling it unprecedented warmongering. But Paul Kengor at The American Conservative reminds us that then-President Bill Clinton made a remarkably similar threat back in 1993 against Kim’s grandfather, Kim Il-sung. During a trip through Asia, Clinton said this about his policy towards North Korea: "We would overwhelmingly retaliate if they were to ever use, to develop and use nuclear weapons. It would mean the end of their country as they know it.” How did liberals respond? Says Kengor: “They loved it. They pumped their firsts. They pounded their chests. They gave high-fives.”"

Look who else threatened North Korea, Hillary

Where was the outrage when B. Clinton basically said the same thing to NK that Trump is now saying?
Where was the outrage when Hillary alluded to attacking them, and, outright said she would attack Iran?

It wouldn't matter if Trump slams him, or, instead, if Trump handed them a billion dollars...Kim is going to do what Kim wants to do.
This is the best posting I've read in a while.
Leftists: stop your blind hatred of Trump, take a deep breath, and read it again if necessary.

Pelosi has no idea about anything. She's a career politician, nothing more, nothing less.
She has no military training and as far as I know, she's never met Kim.
She knows nothing.
Carry on.

I am a Trump supporter and I have concerns. But the fact that I don't hear anyone in power complaining says to me that there is a plan. My guess is that he is trying (with advice of his generals) to draw fire away from South Korea and Japan. Right now I am not sure Kim can do anything and frankly he hasn't. No Guam, no Hydrogen bomb in the pacific. He knows the results. But Trump's large mouth has put this threat on the front burner. And made everyone in the world sit up and take notice. Remember 911 worked because no one was taking them seriously. But once we did? It pretty much stopped.

Remember every day we give untold amounts of money to other countries in foreign aid. Also many countries, including China, get a large amount of their economy from us. They know how devastating it would be -- to them -- for the USA to take a hit. And China has stepped up with powerful financial sanctions.

But I have been sick of Twitter for a long time now. Not a way to run a country. I would like Twitter to shut his account down but then he would just post on Facebook. If the liberal media really thinks it is dangerous they should stop covering it.

Dear Republicans: It’s time for you to expel President Trump from the White House.

Your party loyalty, if unchecked, could mean the United States finds itself in another war. But this time, we could suffer irreparable harm in the form of a nuclear attack on our soil. (“Aides warned Trump not to attack North Korea's leader personally before his fiery U.N. address,” Sept. 22)

What will you say to your spouses, children and friends when they ask you why you did not attempt to stop Trump? How will you live with yourselves, knowing that you never gave adequate consideration to the well-being of the country and just thought about getting reelected?

Republicans, now is the time to stand your ground against Trump. Protect our country by starting the process to remove Trump from office (and really, “protect” is the right word this time).

Will Republicans stop Trump before he and Kim Jong Un start a nuclear war? - LA Times
The L.A. Times has become a shameless Left-Wing rag over the years. Such a shame, since one of my ancestors, Harrison Gray Otis, was once the Editor when it was a conservative paper.

So, you believe the solution to the problem is having the POTUS act every bit the petulant little brat that Kim Jung Nut is?

But let it be a maniac with nuclear weapons threatening the US and it's allies but because the left despises Trump, the left will take the side of the enemy. Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.

You so funny!

And both of them have huge egos and don't have if they have to kill millions of people to stroke said egos.

If the GOP doesn't stop trump by the end of this year, then the Dems will take back Congress and they will end this abomination. Sadly it will take many years for our country to recover from the short-lived but reckless trump administration.

The antics of the left may very well trump Trump's antics.

"You're all a bunch of racists" doesn't lure votes to the DNC.
