And yet - SW is going to fold and cow tow to this woman by contacting her. Total BS - if you have a life threatening condition you should have a certificate to say so - just in case something happens so the paramedics can determine what may be the problem.
Some one who just wanted their 15 minutes of fame.
I'm starting to see the next media civil war. After the NFL thing dies down, it's going to be crazy women against service dogs. I'm calling it now!
I would never put an animal in the baggage hold. Many times there are glitches with the cargo heat and the pet will die. Not worth the risk.
Anyone who insists on bringing an animal on a plane, other than a trained and certified service dog (no turkeys, pigs or cows) should ride in the cargo hold with said animal. There are cars, buses and trains (with baggage cars) available as an option. Leave the barnyard at home, along with the fake vests so many are buying these days.

Thank you.
I wonder how many posting the knee-jerk condemnation of this woman, while building the usual fortress around dogs and their owners, are aware of this story.
It happened....and it will happen again and again, as long as this lunacy of dogs in an airplane cabin is allowed.
I don't know the complaining woman....and don't necessarily attribute any more credibility to her allergy complaint than anyone else here. Her honesty/character is the minutia in this story and beside the point. But what this incident does once again call attention to is the sheer idiocy of allowing dogs on on airplane and allowing sociopathic dog owners to boot an objecting passenger from a flight. It is madness. Reflective of the madness of the times we live in today.
Mr. Jackson knows all too well that allergies are just one of multiple good reasons to keep dogs away from airplane cabins.
