Why must they always have british guys on Comedy Central? Does the british accent con people into thinking these guys are clever or something?

I find the buffoon hillarious because so many people cry about his lying....and all that tells me is that they're easily fooled as long as the turd has a nice shiny polish on it.
You've actually made a good point, in a sense we should be thankful for Trump's complete inability to filter himself. If Trump was the exact same person with the exact same beliefs, but did everything with a big Reagan-y smile on his face, or if he had a folksy demeanor like Neil Gorsuch, I'd find him infinitely more terrifying.

Where you err is in acting like Trump's lying falls within the normal range of politicians lying.

EDIT: I realize I should probably say something on topic for the thread.

John Oliver, that liberal scum! Who cares what that ugly SCMUCK has to say?

...Did it work? Am I blending in?

No, he actually did say ONE TRUTHFUL thing in his entire life, but only ONE. He said "He could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose a single supporter." Man, he called that one right.

Otherwise, yeah, everything else he says is an outright lie or fabrication.

Correct. Even the most hardcore Trump supporters are well aware that Trump has been caught in dozens of lies.

But they hate people who oppose them just like Trump so they stick by him. Trump supporters feed off of his hate, many of them are angry people. Just look at the tone of their posts.

Look at Trump. There is no humility, there is no kindness, there is no tact. His supporters are mostly the same way.

"Operation Katrina" has been exposed. It's over. They attempted to make Maria Trump's "Katrina." It failed.

Now we know that the Trump Administration had planned for a response well in advance of Maria even getting close to Puerto Rico. The Navy had ships offshore with supplies even before it made landfall. Ships with well decks, and helicopter landing platforms and with hospital facilities.

We have learned the USS Comfort (some criticized the fact that the Comfort was not deployed sooner) would be of very little use, because it was not designed for such a relief effort. It's mission was designed for combat operations.

We also learned that Puerto Rico basically kicked the US military off the island some years ago, and they were forced to abandon the base that had been there for years.

An island is more difficult in a situation such as this, because the only access is by sea or air.

Nice try Leftists.

Go Trump!

It does not matter who is saying Trump lied, what the question is did Trump lie or not?

Who was the senator in the hospital that tipped the vote on the healthcare bill to failing? Please let us know who Trump was talking about. Because Trump said otherwise they had the votes which appears to not be true, A.K.A., a lie.

Also, why didn't the government deploy troops to assist with the relief effort? Declaring that Puerto Ricans wanted someone else to do the work for them is a little disingenuous since their Island was hit by a category 5 hurricane and most people could not just wake up the next day and go to work because the had no electricity, floods, blocked roads, mud slides, their house was blown down, so yeah, most of the people were not able to drive down to the docks to unload ships and drive supplies around the Island.

Just remember, Hillary supporters and even Bill Clinton were deemed racist in 2008. You do remember that right?

I find it sad how fast the R-word get's thrown around as a political weapon and then the same people that wield the weapon complain about "divisive rhetoric" coming from the other side.

It's as hypocritical as the "moral majority" schtick from the right.

OMG. A senator is recovering at home for urological issues instead of recovering in the hospital. Republican Sen. Thad Cochran wants his constituents -- and possibly President Donald Trump, as well -- to know that although he's recuperating from a urological issue in Mississippi, he's not currently in a hospital. "Thanks for the well-wishes. I'm not hospitalized, but am recuperating at home in Mississippi and look forward to returning to work soon," Cochran tweeted Wednesday afternoon.
LIAR LIAR. OFF WITH HIS HEAD!. He was unable to vote because he was home in MS recovering, NOT IN THE HOSPITAL recovering. Trump is a liar.

And just as people believe President Trump is all knowing, all powerful and should have the exact skinny on all senators, congressman and every US citizen, he should also have known beforehand exactly the devastation, already been on the island personally delivering supplies despite the fact that just like the local residents and rescue he nor American troops could not have repaired a long failing power infrastructure, navigated the flood waters on non existent roads thru mudslides.
Do you have any idea how much relief effort has been deployed to PR?

It's news that Trump lied?

And, really, it's "huge" that he lied about someone being in a hospital? For me, the "huge" lies are about his finances, his collusion, his conflicts of interest, his racism, his predatory misogyny, etc.
