Oh, how nice of him to be so extra sensitive

Lin decided to write about his decision to get dreadlocks in The Players’ Tribune, talking about how he consulted with several people before rolling it out to make sure he wasn’t deviating into the realm of cultural appropriation.
The hair-raising truth? Dreadlocks don’t belong to one ‘culture’

Well I guess it is nice that he consulted with the experts to make sure his dreads wouldn't be insulting anyone but come on is this what we have been reduced to?

In the article it says he once sported a mohawk. I wonder if he consulted any Native Americans tribes before he cut his hair like that?

Yes. There are people just waiting to be offended so they can put on their capes and spring into action to right the (imagined) wrong.

The whole thing is ridiculous.

This country is a melting pot and I see places like "Fongs Pizza" or people of various ethnicities sporting Maori or Celtic tattoos and a host of other blends of culture.

That's what this country is about.

Not divisive garbage about who is "allowed" to wear their hair certain ways or how to dress and so forth by those that somehow feel they have the power to dictate that to others.

Exclamation shhhhh...

I think all NFL etc players should be required to cut their hair and shave their faces. I think it would
stop a lot of their nonsense.
