What I was implying is that she would not feel black. Simply hiding her whiteness is not what being black is about.
That isn't logical to my point. As I could just as easily say that a transgender "would not feel" like a man in my situation either. Hiding your female body is not what being a man is about.

Also, it is not conservatives who are running elite colleges and teaching that race is fluid and a social construct in the college classroom.
If both gender and race are (1) social constructs and (2) fluid - then why should we be intolerant to changes of people who experience such fluidity?

People like this woman and Rachel Dolezal don't want to be African they want to be perceived as an African American person. If a person from the ghetto wins 10 million dollars in the lottery that might them rich but they will still find that the old wealth won't accept them even though they are wealthy. Being poor or wealthy could also be like fluid social constructs. Having black skin and kinky hair doesn't necessarily make you an African American. Melanesians have no African DNA yet they have black skin and kinky hair.
