Bannon, who is currently working with David Bossie to get Trump re-elected, told Bossie that the Vanity Fair article is fake news. Why would he be working so hard for 2020 if he thought Trump would get the boot? Besides, I didn't read anything in Breitbart so I knew it was fake from the get go.

Don't listen to Vanity Fair, listen to Steve Bannon who calls them out for their fake news at his latest, well-received speech at the Value Voters Summit. If you've never watched him beyond quick clips you will learn why this man has so much influence in DC and over conservatives. I predict you will actually agree with much of what he says.

Still, it is possible. That would outrage a few of the folks.

No one could call it a coup either, because using the 25th amendment it would be done by his own hand-picked people, and all (or mostly all) Republicans.

I am not saying it should happen, but it would be far better for the party to replace him with Pence this way than to expose the party to the scandal of impeachment proceedings, which could very well happen at some point.
Yes.
I believe Trump will just quit and leave office before impeachment ever begins, but if he refuses to leave, I think his Cabinet will more likely vote to have him removed and present the 25th to the leaders of the Senate and House for approval.

This would spare the Republican party a lot of the grief they will be facing in 2018, would help them retain their majorities, and would spare a Congress that is terrified of starting an impeachment.

Trump's impulsiveness cannot be restrained, and the chaos it creates is beginning to destroy the party he leads while fraying our government's ability to function and govern.

If nothing else, Pence would be a steadier hand at the wheel, and would not say one thing one day and the opposite thing the next day.

No one knows what Trump believes now or not, because no one knows from one moment to the next just what his stance is or if it will change before the next sunup. This is no way to govern the most powerful and wealthiest nation in the world. It simply cannot continue, as the man can make a split second decision that can take decades to undo, if at all.

This is dangerous enough as is, but it's especially dangerous when Trump is indulging in a game of chicken with nuclear weaponry used as game chips.

Obama made decisions it is taking years to unravel -- Iran deal and ACA.

If you want to know what Trump believes in, watch any of his campaign rallies. Heck, watch videos of him in the 1980s and 1990s. He said back then what he said on the campaign trail and what he says today. He has a list of promises and is checking them off one by one as much as possible with a recalcitrant, elitist Congress who doesn't like to work.

The nuclear Chicken Little journalists' false narrative was debunked. Trump has said in meetings more than once that he wishes there were NO nuclear weapons on the planet. But that makes him look compassionate, which mainstream media never allows.

If you REALLY want to know what Trump and Conservatives believe, start watching and reading "The Enemy's" TV and newspapers instead of swallowing what your Left wing media tells you. You might be surprised. Very surprised...
