IMO Hollywood is much more deserving of a general boycott than the NFL.
With the NFL, figure out the national anthem situation and let's move on. Either the anthem is no longer played, or it is played, and the players will stand. Problem solved, people can get back to enjoying the games.
Hollywood on the other hand is almost incorrigible. A left wing, immoral cesspool. I've pretty much done my own personal boycott against them for 10 years or more, I've probably gone to 4 movies over that time. I've missed nothing along the way. If America stopped going to the movies in great numbers, perhaps a message would be sent.

Sure, they do make a few good movies but most of them are a waste.of.time.
You must be listening to FOX News who thinks Hollywood is anti-American because the film industry isn't.
Maybe some of the actors? Who are expressing their "freedom of speech?"

You missed my point. I wasn't saying the movies are necessarily anti American. I am saying that there are a lot of bad movies, waste of time movies, with a lot of unnecessary violence, sex, etc, being made by left wingers , and by creeps and generally bad people like Weinstein. IMO much more deserving of a boycott than the one being waged by some right wingers against the NFL. I think those efforts are being directed in the wrong place.

America is a violent and sexist place so Hollywood exploits that in movies.

I don't know if there are any conservative directors/producers out there. I know there are some conservative actors such as Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris, S. Stallone etc.
