I'm seeing in IRL. My 93 year old Aunt, Trump voter, now no longer wants to talk about him. She just wishes to avoid the subject. Co-worker hated Hillary and 'wanted to see what would happen' if Trump were elected. He regrets this wish and his vote. He's not highly partisan in either direction.
I think it's independents who are leaving Trump in droves. His core base will be with him no matter what. He really could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and they would still be with their Glorious Leader.
Can you dispute the comments or just rag on CNN when you have no idea even where the news came from?
Lame.
There is no evidence of anyone "leaving Trump in droves."
CNN (and Washington Post and others) usually don't reveal their sources, citing "anonymous," or "according to sources," or other avoidance statements. Such claims as those made above are always suspect, and they usually turn out to be fabrications.
Facts are stubborn things. You can hate CNN all you want, and His Orangeness still effed up on relations with Qatar.
So far, facts more often than not are proving Trump right, and organizations such as CNN, MSNBC et al, wrong. They lie.
Cases in point: The Puerto Rico recovery, the recent story that Trump wanted to increase our nuclear arsenal by tenfold, and a few other front page "news" stories from those networks.
How so? Trump is only head of one branch of government. We have separation of power.
You are being given an object lesson right now, actually. Heads of government make poor heads of state, because they tend to be contentious figures. Which is why most republics split the jobs.
Correct! We live in a Representative Republic, NOT a Democracy. What if most of the people wanted to vote slavery back in? The mob rule mentality could quickly shift through emotion and vote for something stupid like that.
Someone said recently (I forget who) that if we were a democracy, Rosa Parks would still be in the back of the bus. Not one Democrat voted for the 1964 civil rights act.

Don't lecture me, nor be condescending it just reinforces that liberal/progressives can be elitist jerks. "Most" republics split the jobs? News to me.
You said in one post that the Queen is just a figurehead, and in another that people in a monarchy have no freedom. That seems a bit contradictory to me.
I think you may have missed my point. I don't care if the Brits don't respect Trump. I suspect most of them know that the majority of Americans don't think much of him, either.
Delighted to see the UK give Trump a massive middle finger.
LOL, Trumpty dumpty just had a big fall.
