Hurricane Irma DID NOT directly hit Puerto Rico, you didn't know that did you??

But it DID strike Cuba inland. So not only was Cuba hit as hard as Puerto Rico, it was hit HARDER than Puerto Rico.

However, Cuba was not as bad as Puerto Rico in the aftermath, the article explains why - it has to do with good leadership, good preparation, and good post-hurricane action.

Puerto Rico, on the other hand, did not get any of that; hence, they are worse off.

You really should read the article, maybe you'll learn something.

Gee, I wonder why. Video Shows Where Puerto Rico's Aid Went (Spoiler: It's In A Dumpster In Puerto Rico) | Daily Wire I have no doubt there are some people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome badly enough to let people suffer if it means they can try to put him in a bad light.

Governor of Puerto Rico Confirms Trump's Responded to His Requests For Help

Maybe you should read something other than liberal propaganda, maybe you'll learn something.

It's pretty hard to leave Cuba, if talking their "laws".

Puerto Rico: OTOH; has been losing pop for more than 10 years and, many of the people leaving are their "best". Too; there's NO law telling PR's they need to stay there since ALL of their kind are US citizens.

Read what bebop and I did. Harvesting the crops and distributing it to the people who would need it before the hurricane hit was a great move. Making bread in advance and distributing it is too. Having teams in place to repair things? It's common sense. Having medicine required by people available is vital.

Cuba got hit real hard but it siure doesn't seem like it hurt so much from what I'm gathering. Not a single source I've used is Cuban or US media either.

They've done a damn good job so far.

Important fact, but inconvenient for some to realize, is that getting back to operational would not be nearly as difficult in a country 50 years behind the Western industrialized world. Given how much remains manual in those places, the clean-up and return to regular isn't as difficult.

Simple logic, give it a try.
