The system works by registering each passenger with a membership number, which is stored in the microchip, and monitored and updated via an app on the customer's smartphone.

As the conductor moves through the train to check tickets, passengers are able to simply hold out their hand for the conductor to scan and check ticket information. SJ Railways claims it is the first travel company in the world to offer this service.
At this point, there is really no need to microchip anyone, they have achieved what they have desired for the most part with cell phones and social security numbers, its pretty common for them to track people using cell signals now, plus, all the spying that goes on, we only know a little bit about this thanks to whistleblowers like Ed Snowden, but have to consider all the secret ways they spy and keep track of everyone too, NO ONE here knows much about that or how they do it.

It doesn't say you MUST be micro chipped of course but since when did facts stop this poster from making outrageous claims? Must suck to go through life so miserable.
only those stupid people on that job been microchipped- I watch my granddaughter get home from work on her cellphone- I do think kids and old people should get a wristbands with a tracking device, but nothing under the skin---

People who want to be microchipped can be, however no one case force you to be microchipped in Europe as it contravenes Article 8 (Privacy) of the European Convention on Human Rights. The ECHR which is seperate to the EU and covers 47 states takes precedent over national law.
