People obviously didnt read the article, Franken was doing a skit for playboy magazine. This women and few others were apart of said skit. The picture could very well be apart of said skit.

Franken is from Minnesota right? They have a democrat governor. Even if Franken "goes down" over this, he will be replaced by a democrat, so the dems won't lose a seat. Moore is going to end up losing to a dem, so the GOP will lose a seat. Democrats still win this round.

There is a difference between inappropriate behavior and a crime. If we believe everything this woman says to be 100% true, it would not be a crime because she, by her own admission, agreed to rehearse the kiss with Franken. As far as the photo goes, Al Franken was being an ass.

So, you automatically believe the victim is lying even though there was a camera present?

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that that picture was not during the show instead while traveling while she was sleeping.

The picture is of a mocked grope. Mock or real, it is evidence of how many men do not grasp the implications of their behaviors.

Tweeden said:

" That was then. This is now. I'm no longer afraid".

Some on social media have pushed back on Tweeden given she has been a swimsuit model and in doing so encouraged men to do what comes naturally to them. Seems to be a modern variation of fundalmental religions whereby men are not expected to control themselves and instead put responsibility for male behavior on women.

Men, in positions of power/ influence, have been harassing women, since forever. It is not partisan or industry specific.

The US elected 2 recent presidents, Clinton ( D) and Trump (R) despite multiple accusations.

No shortage of men in positions of relative power/ influence have behaved inappropriately with women, since forever.

Going forward, men should be afraid, very, very afraid.

This thread is not about Moore, Trump, Bob Hope or Bill Cosby or Ted Kennedy.

This is about Al Franken.

Please stick to the topic once I reopen the thread.
