Why not? I mean, do you not rehearse it like you plan to perform it?
If you let someone put their lips on yours, you cannot cry assault later if you wind up with some tongue.
We don't even know if it was supposed to be a romantic, steamy sort of kiss (I haven't read the script). You rehearse it like it's supposed to be on stage. That's Acting 101 right there.
You should have listened to her interview on CNN. Maybe you would change your opinion a bit. Probably not though. You seem set in your thoughts.
I dislike everything Franken.
I vote no, he does not need to step down.
I will be the first to say, he is a guy and there were a lot of guys there egging him on, with the same mindset.
He is a guy. Women need to get over it. You are never going to get that one thing out, that Mother Nature put so far into the brain and characteristics of a male. It is not going to happen.
Honesty, is the only solution and realizing men are men and they lust for women at different levels through their lifetime.
Christianity is the only thing that keeps it somewhat at bay and that's not fool proof.
The problem arises when girls are never taught what is always on a mans mind and they will never be able to change that, because they go through life constantly trying to change their mates mind and behavior. Ends up miserable and divorced.
It does go to show, those living in glass houses should not be throwing stones.
To your knowledge, has Franken blamed anyone yet? Has he dubbed this a plot from the "unhinged Far Right" designed to keep him from doing his job for the American people?
If not, why do you think he hasn't done that?
No he hasn’t blamed anyone. He said he don’t remember the rehearsal exactly the way she does but he apologizes for his actions. He also said the picture of the group was from a skit, still not appropriate either way.
And I believe due to him taking accountability, Also calling for an investigation, he realizes he needs to be held accountable as well as anyone else for their actions. That’s a real changed man and someone who actually want to be apart of change in the treatment of women.
But I want to say something else, too. Over the last few months, all of us—including and especially men who respect women—have been forced to take a good, hard look at our own actions and think (perhaps, shamefully, for the first time) about how those actions have affected women.
If Senator Franken has spent the last few months taking a good, hard look at his actions and how they affected women, why did he wait until his accuser posted evidence of him "affecting" a her to come forward?

I will have to back and read the apology but I do not remember it saying the picture was from the skit.
