System won’t let me rep you.

The point is that if spending needs to stay at certain levels (gotta expand that military, say Republicans; and some Medicare, etc. needed), then cutting taxes below that spending trajectory expands the deficit. You are living in a fantasy land if you don't see thism

Whereas if at least some of the Democrats had voted Yes, at least they'd be able to share in some of the glory.... but No.
President Trump will receive all the accolades.
Most of the economists were also opposed to this, show me one that predicts 5% GDP growth its more like a few tenths of s percent. This isn’t reform, it’s a redistribution of wealth to the top brackets because they have been barely getting by the last 10 years

The bill doesn't give manufacturers a tax break. It lowers taxes on payments of private aircraft owners to management companies that help maintain, store and staff those planes for owners. Do you really think that without this tax break the elite would give up their private jets and fly commercial -- sitting next to that crying kid?

Gee, I didn't know that private jet owner were so poor that they needed a tax break.

Whatever happened to "the government shouldn't be picking winners and losers?" I know, it doesn't apply to the rich.
I think they should tax employer provided lease cars as an income. Every one of our elected reps would have to pay additional taxes.

Presuming he was taxed on the original $100 million (which is a long stretch) he wasn't taxed on the appreciation of $100 million ($200 million minus $100 million). Most of what is taxed under the estate tax is what is called "unrealized gains." Thus, that "already been taxed' is merely a fallacy that I am sure shills for the wealthy will use again.

My question is, why do we get so many middle class posters here shilling that the rich -- who have their own lobbyists and attorneys shilling for them for money?
Why?

In a word. Ignorance!

Some tweets from Repubican commentators:

Steve Schmidt:
Quote:
”The United States Senate has gone completely off the rails. Lobbyists are writing the bill in secret and duly elected Democratic US Senators have no idea what's in it. The corruption of what used to be the worlds greatest deliberative body is a tragedy.”

Matthew Dowd:

Quote:
”Not only will 13 million poor and working class lose health insurance because of tax bill, a number of gop congressman will lose their government health insurance because they will no longer be in office after the 2018 elections.”

“There is a big difference between a legislative victory and a political victory. GOP passing tax bill is a legislative one, not political one. This will hurt them in 2018 elections. Unpopular bill, pushed by unpopular President, passed by unpopular Congress. Not good.”

Ana Navarro:

Quote:
To Do List:

1. Worry about tax-bill from hell that makes national debt soar;
2. Be pissed about growing list of sexual harassers in gvt & secret hush-fund from hell paid by taxpayers.
3. Focus on Flynn & Russia, Russia, Russia;
4. Do stuff to get ready for Xmas
5. Manicure

Yes!!! Joy, oh joy!!! We are on the way to the next Great Depression, thanks to the members of Congress in the pockets of the millionaires that forgot the lessons of the last depression.
