(Alleged) Child molester and candidate for Senate Roy Moore took a disliking to things Jimmy Kimmel has been saying on his show, and played the "Come down and say it to my face" card. Kimmel has accepted.
Now, will Moore back down, or does he figure this will just go away without consequence like his molesting of children? (allegedly).
"As to Moore’s (again, carefully phrased) implication that he’s spoiling for some down-home, Alabama-style fisticuffs, Kimmel claimed to be ready for that too, responding, “There is no one I’d like to like to fight more than you.” Here, too, Kimmel had terms—the host will wear a Girl Scout outfit (“So you have something to get excited about”), and all admission fees will go to Moore’s accusers....."
Kimmel has no clue how much he and his ilk are detested by mature southerners. His presence will galvanize the right wing vote.
By mature Southerners, you mean ones that support a child rapist (alleged) and twice removed Judge over what by all senses seems to be a perfectly credible candidate because you're scared of what one Democratic vote can do?

I dunno. Not if Moore gets his rear end handed to him. No self-respecting Southerner backs a guy who cannot win a fist fight with a Hollywood elite lib.
