I've been saying this for a long, long time.

Conservatism is a sickness.

Hell, you'd be the first one thrown out of my house, family or not for not being able to shut the hatred down if you act anything like you do here in real life.

Pretty damn stupid to accept a job backing a performer known to include political songs/commentary in his act if that bothers you. Just another example of a snowflake Righty.

Exactly. The audience for a Rufus Wainwright show knows what they are getting, and it's why they bought their ticket. Poor little RWNJ snowflake has only himself to blame.

The bookers of this performance obviously knew the opinions and usual subjects the performer talked about in his gigs; and decided to hire this person, either because of them, or in spite of them. And obviously the audience liked the gig and liked Wainwright.

So I think the trumpeter who walked offstage was out of line. After all, it was not his gig specifically.

Actually, if you read the link, he was refusing to blow for the Gay Maestro ? He was the principle trumpet and apparently had some principles.

Well, there was an audience as well. The clown even complained about being forced to perform a Christmas song without regard if there were Christians in the audience. What happened to class and grace much less professionalism?

The Trumpeter walking off stage was voicing his opinion very much like the NFL kneelers.

He voiced his opinion in front of the audience by walking off stage. The same way the pianist voiced his opinion by speaking. They each voiced their opinion in front of the audience in different ways.

I wonder if Trump will tweet asking both of them to be fired by the Orchestra. I wonder if the anti-NFL kneeler crowd will now refuse to attend the orchestra because they want 100% performance at all times when they pay for their tickets. They don't want to orchestra players to voice their opinion (via political comnentary or walking off the stage).

So, your house throws out the most rational person and keeps all the extremists?

That actually can be a metaphor for most red states.
