So I noticed how several news articles on the internet, like USA Today or MSNBC.com, mentioned how this global warming is the MAIN cause for the early springtime we are apparently experiencing and how it will affect plants and animals.
Same here in New Hampshire! I am tired of the cold, snow and sleet. I could use a little Global Warming right now. This is the first day of spring but does not seem to be the last day of winter.
PS - just whining, I do know the difference between weather and climate but I am still fed up with the cold.

I just don't know.
I recall several very early and warm springs in the late 70's/early 80's.
In my area the winters seem to be much milder in general. A decade ago it seemed that we had more ice/snow (SE/US) and the heat/humidity is worse in the summer.
I think the overdevelopment of the area is one factor.
We are having a lovely Spring. It never fails to inspire me.

Early spring? Weatherman says it is going to have a flurry this saturday... and temps where cold this morning so much that frost developed on my windshields... good thing I didn't listen to the early spring and put the ice scraper in my trunk... sorry, still don't believe in CO2 as culprit for anything other than scapegoat bunk profit-racketeering science.. by the way, did you know that if ANYTHING happened to weather or climate or natural disasters its all because of global warming... did you?
In snowed last night here in NH. I'm waiting for it to warm up a bit before my kids and I head out to go skiing at Mt. Sunapee (100% open). The forecasted temp is 27 at noon.
Back in CT it's in the low 30's and the wind is howling. A few years ago my family and I were sitting on the swing enjoying the 70 degree temps in our shorts.
There are plenty of natural reasons for global warming if it in fact is eminent. That being said, it doesn't justify abusing the environment or taking our planet for granted.
