In my opinion, no one who uses up more in tax dollars than they pay into the system should be allowed to vote. Only net contributors should be allowed to vote since it's their money that is getting spent. And someone who contributes a net of $100,000 to the tax revenue should have a vote that counts 10x as much as someone who contributes a net of $10,000. Wouldn't that be fair?

So, your proposal would place more weight on the votes of those sitting in their Ivory Towers whiling away their time than those of the servicemen and women who defend that right to vote putting their own butts on the line as well as law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, etc.

No.
Every citizen not currently facing legal restrictions following conviction should have the right to vote. BTW, any person convicted of a felony should be able to vote once they have served all of there time, meaning once they are released and not on parole or probation.
The only things I want are voter ID and to get away from the notion that everyone should go vote. Most people, although they should have the right to vote, have no business voting.

The fairest thing would be to take away your right to vote for coming up with such a lame proposition.
It's often the people earning the most who are making decisions that lead to the downfall of an industry, or leading to a crash in the stock market, or requiring bail outs.
And you want to put the outcome of elections solely in their hands?

How very elitist of you.
Absolutely, I am elitist and proud of it. Our Founding Fathers were elitists too. They believed that America should be an Aristocracy. They would be rolling in their graves if they saw the mobocracy that is modern-day America.

Why you are at it, why not weight the vote by most taxes paid.
Let me know when a super majority of Congress agrees to such an amendment and then 38 states ratify it.

^terribly awful idea
only those of us that have joined the military or volunteered for public service programs like The Peace Corps have earned a right to vote.
The rest of you, should continue to accumulate mold and dust and keep your opinions to yourselves as you plod along your selfish paths to your own shallow self-gratification as non-citizens
don't worry, we will keep you safe from the bugs out there
