EMP, would work great north of the DMZ. Plus a conventional strike of superior air attacks, missiles, artillery, offensive rockets, and tanks! We should be using anti missile and other defensive weapon's to insure defensive strategies to protect the south. Deployment of MOAB's and j-dam bombs by our military to ensure massive destruction of targets and to instill fear. Non nuclear weapons only to ensure a quick and undeniable defeat of North Korea! Before they develop the capability of a preemptive strike on the United States! Which, they appear to be doing.

It always sounds so simple in a video. There are a few loose ends, however. EMP is unpredictable against older, Red Army hardware, they have more artillery pieces than we have platforms to attack them with. Their artillery is located in protective shelters and bunkers.

And China has said that if we initiate hostilities, they will also join the fight against us.

China's forces have evolved over the past 10 years, and they are formidable. Yes, we can do more damage to them than they can do to us, but it will be messy. Both sides would, very likely, sustain "civilization ending" damage.

But then, this is why some of us prep.

Cillian Zeal for the Conservative Tribune reports, According to NBC News, the United States currently has microwave weapons in its arsenal that potentially can scramble any North Korean nuclear missile without even having to physically intercept it, something that could render Kim Jong Un’s latest ICBMs useless.

So if we have that level of defensive capability whats the point in making a first strike with air attacks, missiles, artillery, offensive rockets, and tanks!? Your blood thirsty first strike plan would probably annihilate 20 million people would you like to be the person that presses that button?

Does the OP really think the rest of us can't go on YT and look up all this garbage ourselves?

Repeat after me: "Not everything on the internet is real, correct, or worthwhile".

You should apply for General Mattis's job.

NK already has nukes - they will never have first strike capability on the US - as we have a 50 year lead along with better tech (including EMP, patriot missile batteries, Satellite launch detection, etc. - than they can never hope to have. Perhaps before we engage in any per-emptive action we should consult with our allies in the region - most importantly SK who is NOT in favor of ANY first strike on the North. It their risk to take as they are 30 miles from the DMZ with their lives as stake.

Yeah, ?she? has a habit of starting threads like this. I don't take them 100% serious, but rather, just food for thought. Also gives me some insight as to what kind of panic the average person will feel as this stuff goes down.

War is messy, dirty, destructive. It gives rise to chaos, vermin,
disease, famine. To the victor goes the spoiled

And the outcome is never certain

A bunch of us on a different forum brainstormed this, and the likelihood is that if we initiate hostilities and China does not get involved, there will be 1 million casualties. If we allow N.K. to start it at a time of his choosing, the casualties are likely to top 5 million. If China gets involved, all bets are off, and I would expect the loss of 90% of the population of the U.S. and 90% of the Chinese. More or less.
