While I am a liberal and don't care for Ryan's stances, at least he has some core values, as opposed to trump who has no core or soul.

I'm betting that's why others are getting out as well. I wouldn't want to stick around that's for sure.

Mark of Cain?!!!

Wow, you folks really need your Pappy Obammy to come back and tuck you in at nights. Who cares if he lied straight faced to you about affordable healthcare while gutting the military and depressing the economy.

Like Biden said..., you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.

Some things are just more important than country, right?

Good riddance. I guess there is a lot of money to be made on the other side of the bribery industry.

And his core values all pretty rotten. Paul Ryan's only goal has been to figure out a way to reform Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and any other social safety net programs along conservative lines. He finally found a way through the tax cut plan that will require a reduction or elimination of those programs in order to transfer American wealth to the rich and business.

Is he resigning now, or announcing he will not run again in 2018?

You are vastly over estimating Trumps actual influence.

If this is true, I'm so glad he's leaving, more need to follow.
