Yes, just like in Latin America, your dream system, where the poor has to rely on charities instead of a public safety net. There is nothing great about the poor having to beg for charity donations. Move to Mexico or Peru and see how that works out.
So you honestly want America to go back to some type of medieval system where everyone in need would beg charities for donations? Do you have any idea how much social problems this would cause? We are living in the 21st century. Seems like people would rather turn America into some type of medieval hellhole.

People have an innate built in system for survival. One can not take serious the claims of many here as they know what they advocate for will not work. It doesn't stop them.
If it comes down to it, people will take what they need to survive. Be it by choice or force. The entire system would soon collapse if we pursued the road some pretend to support.
Yes, you have stated that you support the Trump tax plan and are AGAINST stronger unions, high tax-to-GDP and much higher taxes on the rich. This is totally in line with the Latin American and Alabama way of doing things that you want to see happen in America. This idea that you support something else is laughable.
Again, I've repeatedly said we should tax like Scandinavian/European countries: Put the middle class in the same income tax bracket as the top 1%, and implement a 20%-25% national VAT tax.

I don't see the families at St. Jude's, Shriners Hospitals, or church food pantries and "coat closets" (donated outerwear) complaining.

They already are taking it by force. Government force. They use the government to take from others and give to them.
1. Why did the Republicans design their tax cuts to mostly benefit the rich?
2. Why are tax cuts that will benefit the rich permanent and tax cuts for the poor and middle class expire in 10 years?
1. Perhaps is it the same reason that Obama supported more Trickle Down Economics than Reagan that benefitted the rich? And Obama initially proposed cutting social security - which benefits all workers - and making up the gap with extra fees on Fannie loans - ie the poor and middle class paying for the rich's tax cut.

Let me ask you this. We are supposed to be the greatest country in the world yet no one looks out for the poor. Why is that. And this new tax plan certainly doesn't help them.
Let me ask you this. Who stops you from helping them voluntarily?
The poor by any world standard are filthy rich. If we want to help those who have less money, why do we need to force anyone at gunpoint to help?
