I am not a fan of this administration in the least but comparing it/Trump to Hitler belittles the horror those in the concentration camps had to endure. That comparison discredits the many valid criticisms of the administration someone making that comparison might have.

You can't deny that the Republicans have run a systematic purge of progressive Republicans in congress. The purge has been patterned after the Satanist takeover of the Southern Baptist Convention in the '60s and '70s. It's been going on for a long time. Just last year they finally managed to get an atheist elected POTUS. I don't see anything that will keep the process from continuing. Christians are giving up their religion in droves, driven out by worshipers of Mammon.

Despite that we have yet to see Trump loading people into box cars and firing up the gas chambers........the Left considers that formerly universally accepted rule of thumb no longer valid since he was elected.

All comparisons to Hitler and Nazi Germany are now justifiable...as long as it's someone that disagrees with them politically.

Nazism is dead, gone and forgotten, because 416,000 American soldiers died in WWII to crush that evil ideology into dust.

What we have here in 2017 in America is the new rebirth of fascism - not Nazism which was unique to Hitler and Germany. While the underlying ideologies and end goals are very much the same, the strategy to push the agenda in a modern information age is totally different that the military dictators of the 20th century in Europe. So I agree with you there is not a direct comparison.

The baffling thing is that many people that support the Trump/Bannon New American Fascist Party are afraid to stand up and be proud of their movement. Why? I don't get it. At least the Aryan Nation and Nationalist Front are completely upfront about their true beliefs. Why are the Trump followers so reticent about showing their true colors? Never going to acheive MAGA by being shy about it.

The Left wing MSN has been doing a fine job of discredting themselves.

All Trump is doing is pointing it out.

Especially ironic because Trump just recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Not something that Hitler would have done.

The problem with the OP and so many others, is that the country is so divided ideologically that people see "the other side", who are of course evil, in some kind of extreme ridiculous fantasy setting.

Unlike other Presidents; Trump is doing what he pledged he would do. Why would we want to fire somebody that is doing the job we hired them to do?

Your crowd loves to hire the illegal alien and then fire them when they cut off your roses while mowing the grass - then you go out an hire another one. Of course the landscapers, that actually hire Americans and legal immigrants workers, cannot afford to compete - but your happy; you have cheap labor.

Fascist/ Nazis/ bigots - you love names and labels. This is the same technique that we used against the Germans in WWI and II and the Japanese. We dehumanize them to say that it OK to kill them. This isn't 'original' thinking. What it is showing is a group of poor losers!

From where I stand it looks like Trump has been attacking the media in his rallies and public statements. He appears to be discouraging his base from accessing these sources of information.

He has even proposed pulling licenses and suggested the firing of reporters. It seems to me that Mr Trump has a difficult time with a free press, I don't see the political opposition doing the same.

He's following straight outta the fascist playbook. He wants to silence and discredit the free press - number one.
