I guess some people think a 1,000 dollars is pocket change. Heaven forbid that 1,000 not be redistributed to a liberal worthy cause!

Like paying for that huge explosion in military spending that Trumpers are pushing for.

Why shouldn't I expect to be paid back as a taxpayer first?

1000s of people move to the Charlotte area every month. The are one of the places where people are getting jobs.

This speaks for itself.

This tax plan is going to get unemployment below 3%. They know this, they want to keep their workers happy with robust growth and soon to be a non-existent labor pool. Not PR, employee retention.

Corporations appear to be giving their employees a signal: vote for policies favorable to us, and we’ll give you a token gift.

I’m not falling for it.

Yeah, they rarely give the money to the grunts. Was this done because of the tax cut, or seasonal bonuses?

The Charlotte area has always been good employment wise. One of our warehouses is there and it is hard to find employees to stay. So many huge companies there that if one of them is paying 50 cents more an hour, your employee goes on break and never comes back. He/she can find a job on their lunch break.

Nothing new there, been that way for decades.
