Y'all know what you should be concerned about? The fact that these winter storms are being named. Check your homeowner's policies. It probably has a statement that if the damage is caused by a named storm your deductible is suspended and your new deductible is a percentage of the damage, typically 10% but some go up to 20%.
Yes, I bet it does suck to not understand the difference between climate and weather, especially after all the data that has been provided to educate. Thing is one has to have an open mind to learn the truth and with deniers that is not within their capabilities.
We're talking about cons here, they scoff at education. Is it really surprising they have no idea what they're talking about?

Lake Michigan is not frozen over. End of failed thread.
Friends back in NY are reporting 3-5 feet of snow... and they're getting more this weekend.
Once the lakes freeze over that should go down. "Lake Effect" snow is due to the moisture picked up as the wind blows across the Great Lakes. Buffalo's snow fall dropped when Lake Erie froze over in the winter.

Yes, because now that "global warming" has been rebranded and recycled, you can point to any weather event that is even slightly out of the norm and say it's "climate change" !!!!
Surely, you understand the difference between weather and climate.
Actually, I don't give a hoot whether or not the current climate issues are *caused by humans*. But, if humans can do something to mitigate the problem, and don't do it... that is on us as a species, and on the administration & party in charge, no matter who it is.
