Egypt and Israel receive military financial aid from the USA as part of the 1979 Peace Treaty. Much of the money that goes to Israel from what I understand helps the American military industry (meaning jobs for Americans in the USA).

Which means american citizens are taxed (robbed) to line the pockets of defense contractors.
Or said another way, some ditch digger and his family in Nebraska are made poorer so that another govt can buy bombs. Noble cause huh?

Anyway the money is fungible and unless the money we give them is marked, there is no way to know what the Israeli govt. spends our money on.

I'm not sure how the money is managed, but the current agreement is that 100% of the money is spent on US military supplies.

You reckon those sneaky Israelis are switching the money, keeping ours and spending an equal amount of their money on the arms instead?

The guardian put out this article yesterday:

Israel’s BDS blacklist is straight out of apartheid. The UK can’t condone it
Asad Rehman

Here's a part:

This isn’t War on Want’s first encounter with a blacklist from an apartheid state. In the 1980s, when the South African government banned foreign funding for anti-apartheid groups there – in particular those calling for boycotts – War on Want led the UK campaign to oppose the ban. At that time, our staff regularly visited South Africa to work with partner organisations; they were under constant surveillance and followed everywhere they went. Of course, the government’s primary aim was to target the grassroots black activists we worked with, who faced arbitrary imprisonment, torture and death.
Similarly, the bans and blacklists that we face today are only a shadow of what Palestinians endure every single day. This year we remember that it is 70 years since more than 800,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes; they are still denied their right to return by Israel.
Over these seven decades, Israel has imposed travel bans, evictions, and home demolitions that have become part of daily life for Palestinian families. So are arbitrary arrest and detention without trial, collective punishment, violence, and torture without redress.

What about the testimony of individual palestinians from the west bank? Apart from how to categorize the israeli government, the real issue is that the jews want more land and can get it only by killing and repressing palestinians.

If anyone is interested, here's an interview with transcript.

...
Why bother reading Palestinian propaganda BS. Ahed Tamimi was 13 in 2012. It is now 2018 and per your link and numerous other Arab websites she is 16. So in reality she is somewhere between 18 and 19 which is an adult. And as a adult, she can now be arrested for criminal activity. And while you're mentioning her find one photo where she was ever hurt.

That is not true. Any criticism of Israel is immediately met with: "You're Anti-Semitic." The term is always used to prevent constructive criticism of the Jewish state.

Often when there is dissent expressed in the United States against policies of the Israeli government, people here are called anti-Semitic. What is your response to that as an Israeli Jew?

Shulamit Aloni: Well, it’s a trick, we always use it. When from Europe somebody is criticizing Israel, then we bring up the Holocaust. When in this country people are criticizing Israel, then they are anti-Semitic. And the organization is strong, and has a lot of money, and the ties between Israel and the American Jewish establishment are very strong and they are strong in this country, as you know. And they have power…”

So you think one person's opinion back in 2002 is indicative of anything today? Um, ok.
