If you're going to claim that your god is a "miracle worker", then you better be able to put up with the harsh realities of the negative criticism that your faith brings. If you can't stand hearing the truth about it, then perhaps you need to look closer at the issues at the core of what you're believing in.
Not religious myself. I just despise intolerance in all its forms. Unlike you.
The nation just celebrated the birthday of a reverend.
The Huffington Post has deceived you. The sodomites were people who engaged in sodomy; that's where the word is derived from.
Regarding the New Testament, homosexuality is indeed condemned. Jesus even condemned Sodom and Gomorrah in His teachings. Finally, Jesus never acknowledged any marriage but that of a man and woman. Given that Jesus regularly rebuked the religious teachers of His day, He never once rebuked them over their understanding that marriage is between a man and a woman; the topic of marriage was brought to Jesus' attention, but He clearly confirmed that marriage was between a man and a woman.
How about give me chapter and verse to back up your claims. Thanks.

You're right. I'm intolerant of religious people who feel like they need to intervene and condemn people for who don't follow their own broken faith system. The religious character of Christ taught the complete opposite of hatred and condemnation.
We saw what happens when people sit idle - millions of Jews, gays, and undesirables were killed because of the Christian majority deemed them unworthy. So yes, if someone is using their "faith" as a reason to hate others, I will not tolerate that.

No, the "people" of Sodom did not engage in sodomy. According to the bible, the people of Sodom engaged in all sorts of sin. It was MAN that decided to call the act "sodomy" based on what they believed the story of Sodom was about.
Homosexual behavior is not the only sin they were accused of partaking in, nor does the bible anywhere indicate that everyone in Sodom engaged in homosexual behavior.
The bible also points to arrogance, not helping the poor, and being "overfed".
The bible speaks to arrogance, greed, not helping those in need, etc tons more than homosexuality, and yet none of that are sinful qualities that christians want to harp on.
