Did I hear Cohen's attorney David Schwartz claim that someone approached Cohen about Stormy Daniels on Megyn Kelly TODAY, implying that Cohen didn't initiate the Stormy matter? Oh really! Asking Cohen about that claim should be should be on the deposition list.

IIRC, in the 60minutes interview, daniels claimed her agent notified her that cohen had the best offer for her story. i think she implied that cohen had approached the agent but it wasn't clear.

I think that is accurate--
Don't know how she found her attorney (DAvidson) at that time--throught her agent?
Check out Broidy's statement as to how he came to use Cohen as his attorney---
"It is unfortunate that this personal matter between two consenting adults is the subject of national discussion just because of Michael Cohen's involvement," he said in a statement. "Mr. Cohen reached out to me after being contacted by this woman's attorney, Keith Davidson. Although I had not previously hired Mr. Cohen, I retained Mr. Cohen after he informed me about his prior relationship with Mr. Davidson."
Cohen contacts Broidy (whom he knows through the RNC--I doubt they run in same circles otherwise)
and tells him that Keith Davidson (who was attorney for the NDA w/Clifford) is attorney for his girlfriend who needs "support money".
Broidy hires Cohen after Cohen tells him about "his" prior relationship with Davidson--
There could be a lot going on in that pronoun
Plus Broidy could have been taken for a ride by Cohen, Davidson, in addition to the female friend...
They could have decided between themselves how much he was good for and gotten it out of him w/o any real negotiations...doesn't that seem just little too cushy--why would Davidson contact Cohen vs going to the mark himself--Broidy???
Consider how Cohen used the same NDA agreement that he used for Clifford and Trump---smacks of laziness
I read an interesting comment on blog attorneys were posting on about the Stormy Daniels' case
One of them said that Cohen was an attorney in NYC--which really has no bearing on how attorneys in the rest of the US operated...
Evidently the cost of this case is tapping Stormy's/Avenatti's resources. An account has been established at www.crowdJustice.com - the Go Fund Me for legal action.
