Good point in that the economy is currently doing quite well. That could easily lose momentum in six months but no way to know. We do know it is doing well right now.
Iran and the latest about Stormy Daniels have yet to reach their conclusion. As far as Stormy Daniels is concerned, I'd say that he was weird tastes but I try not to judge the sex lives of the famous unless people are getting hurt via child molestation etc.
Iran though? That is a very, very big deal. Israel wants to take over the land in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Iran. I just don't see that happening without a lot of life changing macro events. Our debt is already approaching unserviceability and nothing costs more than war half way around the world.

Everything you stated seems to be true as far as we can tell so far. One thing all this controversy around 45 does tell us, is that Trump is a man of very low morals, and overall, nobody he is not a kind person.
I despise Donald Trump, I think he's the biggest mistake this country has made in over a century. But unless people get out and vote in November, their voices will not be heard.
If the Dems take back the House, they will essentially end Donald Trump's presidency, as he will not accomplish anything else and democrats will stonewall him with everything. The republicans did the exact same thing to Obama when they took over.
If trump had a ounce of honor he would step down today and campaign really hard to support the party through the midterms and then exit the political world.

We have already seen just how low he will go and i believe he is willing to go much lower including trying to get security forces to imprison innocent elected and appointed members of gov ,and suspend elections.

as far as stormy daniels goes, cohen has already admitted in court filings that trump and daniels had an affair ( contradicting trump's claim ) and this week trump's own financial disclosure revealed he supplied the pay-off money for daniels ( contradicting both his and cohen's previous claims ).
so.... what in this situation do you believe is a "baseless accusation"?
Before conclusions are drawn, I voted against his opponent because I thought she wanted war with Iran and Russia. I am not trying to attack Trump here, simply evaluating recent happenings:
1) Looks like he paid over $100,000 in 2016 for the silence of ex-porn star Stormy Daniels. Money was paid to his lawyer. The alleged event took place in 2006. I didn't think that much of it until hearing that apparently his current wife was pregnant at the time? If true....this is going to be a big problem.
2) The Senate Intelligence Committee has decided that Russia "meddled" in the election. Along with Mueller's investigation that simply will not go away.
3) Recently called some immigrants "animals". Later said he was referring to a certain gang.
4) All in with Netanyahu and Iran. To be fair, he said he would re-negotiate the deal if elected. Netanyahu is playing almost identical cards to what he played against Iraq in 2002 and Iran in 2012. I think the vast majority are very weary of destroying countries for the past 15 years.
5) The mid-term elections will be here in 1/2 year. How will he do? Many believe that a democratic majority may successfully seek impeachment.
Stormy is one of five issues I discussed. Seems heavy handed to toss all Trump threads into one discussion.
