Its like this, Nunes releases to FBI a detailed memo outlining how the FBI top dogs and others developed a conspiracy to do illegal things. Using the memo, the FBI top dogs, who are still in their positions, start destroying evidence and threatening witnesses to clam up, to develop a defense against the memo accusations. At the least, the FBI will refer the matter to a government audit agency and after which will refuse to answer questions by stating that the matter is under investigation. Remember that?
It is like this , you are speculating. either you know what the accusation are or you don't and if you don't then you are just making stuff up, hoping, guessing...
This is Fusion GPS transcripts 2.0.
Grassley hyped them up, told lies about them and refused to share them. You guys went insane, foamed at the mouth claiming everyone was going down, everyone was guilty....
This is the same BS, Nunes is waving his shiney object , Russian bots are hyping it, and trumpy folk are mouths wide open like baby birds begging for regurgitated vomit.
X-files keeps the story line going by dialogue that tantalizes but always stops short of actually saying anything concrete. Why? So the series can keep selling advertising and keep rolling along.
Now that the Dems are on their heels, you would think the right wingers would deliver the coup de grace.
But no, the wingers are just letting their adversaries twist in the wind.
I won't speculate as to why the wringers want to pull an X-files on their enemies, but it may be the same reason Jeff Session is acting like a cuckold *****, or why our Prez. hasn't stepped in.
They believe it because it is true in the alternate universe of Trumpland...where cellophane flowers of yellow and green tower over your head....tangerine trees and marmalade skies...
All this based on...conspiracy theories.
"....Nunes has successfully manufactured a controversy designed to undermine the Justice Department’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s connections to Russia, and he used FISA to do it. (This also isn't his first time.) The 1978 surveillance law is not only densely complicated, but operates via a secret court staffed by judges entirely appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, making it a prime target for conspiracy theories..."
"...The confusion over FISA has allowed Nunes and fellow Republicans to tell the public that intelligence officials abuse the law, while at the same time moving to expand its powers. Nunes, as well as Gaetz and King, all voted in favor of expanding surveillance authorities authorized under Section 702 of FISA earlier this month. They cast their votes while at the same time telling the public that FISA is terribly abused by the FBI and the Justice Department. So what’s really going on? Let’s start with Nunes’ memo..."

That made this statement by Nunes even less credible, there was a bipartisan effort to revise the section 702 laws one week ago and they were rejected in the house yet here he is complaining about abuses
Nunes has refused to give a copy to Burr (R) NC head of Senate intel. comm.
Its all a lie.
Not quite. Nunes took a ton of stuff, wrote about it in such a way that it makes someone tucking their kid into bed sound like a pizzagate level crime, and then handed out the memo to various people......with the exception of anyone who could look at it, and call it out for BS. Burr can do so. He knows about the top secret programs Nunes is referring too, and could state that it was nonsense if he saw it. Thats why Nunes hands it out to folks who can't fact check it.

Nunes is a Liar and has thrown his career in the trash to protect Trump. At this point Nunes is likely hoping for a position on some extremist media outlet.. because when the Republicans clean house to try to restore their rep, he will be one of the first ones out the door..
