The aging of the population and that 75% of us are overweight/ obese ensures that the demand for healthcare workers will not diminish.

The snowflake opinion piece in your link cites 400 physician suicides in 2016. There are more than 1 million licensed MDs in the US.
The rate of suicide in the US is at a 28 year high, regardless of profession and does not include suicide by cop. The rate of MD suicide is substantially less than for the general population.
Sounds like you might resent that more people have access to healthcare under the ACA than pre ACA when most states allowed insurers to deny insurance to people with preexisting conditions.
