Trump is giving the dems more rope to hang themselves, as the old adage goes.

Dems are using the dreamers and could care less about them and solving immigration problems. It would be criminal to allow the country to linger in a state of political morbidity at the hands of the democrats shallow political maneuvering. Trump is saying, let's do it now or never. A real solution for a real problem. Dems need a strawdog for 2018 and 2020, not a solution to a problem trump was elected to fix. Dems claim 75% of respondents don't want a wall. Odd that trump ran on building a 'wall' and was elected.

How do dems justify their claim America overwhelmingly does not want a wall? This is where a propaganda machine comes in handy, 'the view in your mirror will appear larger than it really is'.

Given the new information about the "missing" FBI texts between the two lovers Strzok and Page, the government should be less worried about making Trump look bad (because they are failing at it) and more concerned with their own politicized agencies and cleaning those up.

Trump's not worried about a shutdown because he wasn't the guilty one. IRS, FBI and DOJ--they have guilty workers, and those people are panicking and desperate now. Trying to spin this back to Trump is the only strategy they seem to have. It's not working.

The edit is everything!
Let the government shutdown over illegal aliens put above Americans again!

Trump is right again as usual.

The reality show president wants a shut down because it creates a media circus and he LOVES that.

The publics opinion runs the government. Kept in secret, the status quo gains strength.

Republicans can't govern... the only way the can govern if the have complete control over everything.. and even then they would try to pin everything on Democrats.

Sad bunch..
Correct. They want it both ways-gloat about how Trump took that White House, Hillary, a person who is not in politics at all, is such a loser, but they conveniently forget that the Republicans control all three branches of government thus it is ultimately up to THEM to come up with a budget and other legislation.

Nope.

Back in the real world, the majority of americans don't want dreamers kicked out, nor do they want a wall.

As usual, Trump is not working for the will of the people.

It doesn't matter who pays for it as it is needed. It's still cheaper than the $100 billion a year that illegal aliens cost us.

While trump would love to see a shut down I cant see how that could happen with repubs having the majority vote in house and senate.
Also why does this jerk of a president want to see a shut down of the government, a course of action that will inconvenience many.

As usual, Trump is not working for the will of the people.
Plus, the majority of Americans are well aware that the Republicans rule the roost.

If they want a shutdown, we'll have a shutdown.

If they don't, they'll negotiate a reasonable solution.

What they need to do is get a budget passed and quit this endless CR business.
