An answer NO means you require more information before granting the TS clearance. It would give your staff time to look into the type of felony and how long ago it occurred.

An answer YES means you just granted full access to top secrets even if you only intend it to be "interim".
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and John Adams... all felons, with top security clearance.

How about we leave the clearance process the same as it is now instead of trying to click a box on a stupid internet poll without knowing the facts as presented on the individual cases?
It isn’t a Chinese menu; you don’t have a choice between column A or column B.
