If Trump has not conspired together with the Russians to steal the election from Hillary Clinton, then Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have conspired together with the Russians to steal the presidency from Donald Trump. If it is the latter, as it clearly appears to be, then that is the scandalous crime and betrayal of our nation that matters.

The DOJ/FBI started this off, well before that. Remember that they had received the "dossier" from Steele in August 2016, and before that they were investigating the phishing attack on the DNC server that was enabled by John Podesta providing his login credentials to what was apparently a pretty obvious scam phishing email. This was all a part of what eventually was handed over to Robert Mueller by the DOJ.

Nothing to do with Trump, just Manafort's finances.

Uranium One is a criminal investigation. Much more interesting with big 'stars' like the Clintons, Obama, Mueller, and Comey.

And already quite a number of indictments plus a couple of guilty pleas.

Seems to be moving along at a brisk pace, certainly faster than the Benghazi business.

Talking Gates flipped

Isn't it true that Gates stayed with tRump's campaign after Manafort left?

Could be he has a lot of interesting stories to tell. No doubt Mueller likes what he's hearing.

tRump's "best people."

They're SO good.

Yes!

Manafort left because of the publicity over his Russian connections. One would have thought that Gates would leave at the same time over his Russian connections but apparently since there was no publicity about that no one in the campaign was genuinely concerned about his presence.

I'd bet that tRump's concern ramped up a bit over the weekend.

His tweet storm gave it away.

There was the minor matter of Gates having been Trump's deputy campaign manager under Manafort, a fundraiser for the RNC (which is also being investigated for money laundering), and a member of Trump's Inaugural Committee. Other than those small details, I'd say he and Trump probably didn't even know who each other were.

(Apologies to Johnny Cash)

I hear the Mueller train a comin'
It's rollin' 'round the bend
And I haven't seen Melania
Since, I don't know when
And I'm stuck in Putin's blackmail
And the indictments keep rolling in...
