Yeah, before you know it a Dem will be back in the Presidents seat and will be back to freeing Terrorists, selling guns to drug lords, destroying countries like Libya, and having the IRS investigating their political rivals
Wait a minute !! Wasn't there just a thread on here about how the Democratic party was broke, and it had no supporters any more ? How could this Democrat have won if that were the case ?
We've said it a million times, all the Democrats have to do is sit back and watch Trump destroy any hold the GOP had, and they had it all, the whole enchilada. Now, they can't even get one of their candidates to win in deep Republican States.
Hope Trump continues to stump for these candidates...........we should put him on the Democratic payroll.
Wait a second. I believe that was the same plan the 16 GOP opponents used to take on Trump in the primaries and the same plan Hillary Clinton used against him in the generals. How did that turn out?

Yes insane and its crazy that his political opponents just still don't get this.
But now you are convinced it is different? Only difference now is that as POTUS Trump does not have to hope to benefit from events out of his control. He can now control all sorts of things and take all sorts of actions that can make things much easier for himself and the GOP as the midterms approach. And if you think Trump is not going go there well then once again he will benefit from his enemies underestimating him.
And when his these actions occur the left is going to cry foul and will say he is only doing it for political reasons and they will be right but a majority of Americans will line up behind the president. Just research when both Bush 1 and Bush 2 had at least a 87% approval rating and why and you will see where I am going with all this.
Perhaps the democrats might actually need a reason for people to vote for them, novel thought I know. Besides being the party opposing Trump they are devoid of any ideas.

The seat has only been republican for a short time, compared to how long the democrats had held it strongly.

Don't think many posting here or whatever realize at one time large parts of the south were mostly to firmly democrat. This includes places like Alabama.
Since 1900 only a handful of governors of Kentucky were not democrats.
Here's a fun one about seat flipping. Only its a democrat seat turned republican in Ulster County, New York last November. A dem legislator named Jennifer Schwartz Berky was pulled over for a traffic violation and had what was best described as a paranoid hissy fit/ mental breakdown/ childish tanturm. All caught on police cam with a poor police officer having to show the patience of a Saint to endure her tirade and long list of excuses and demands to be let go due to her position. She fought against the release of the tape in court but lost and it was made public just before the election. Naturally, she lost when the voters got a look and just what an ethically bankrupt privileged head case she is. She still managed to garner 800 votes from either the very stupid or the very partisan. She actually talked herself out of being let go and into getting a ticket with her arrogance and stubborn refusal to listen to the officer. Watch it on Youtube, its a hoot.
